What we collect, and what we don’t.

The short version: we collect the minimum we need to do the work, we don’t sell anything to anyone, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time. The rest of this page is the longer version of the same idea.
Who this applies to
This policy covers AI For Biz (“we,” “us,” “our”) and visitors to aiforbiz.us, plus anyone who books an assessment, fills out a form, or sends us an email.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information: things you give us, and a small amount of basic site analytics.
- Information you give us when you book or contact: your name, email, business name, and whatever you choose to share about how your business runs.
- Notes and recordings of our intake call, if you agree to be recorded. If you don’t, we just take notes.
- Standard web logs: IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that doesn’t use third-party cookies.
- Payment information is handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
What we use it for
- Writing your assessment and following up with you about it.
- Scheduling and basic logistics (calendar invites, call links).
- Sending occasional, plain-English updates if you’ve opted in. You can opt out with one click.
- Understanding which pages on the site people actually read.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your information to anyone, ever.
- We don’t use your conversations or documents to train any AI model.
- We don’t share what you tell us with other clients, even anonymously, unless you’ve given written permission.
- We don’t use intrusive ad tracking on this site.
Who has access to it
Inside the company, only Kevin and a small number of trusted collaborators see client materials, and only when they’re working on your assessment. Outside the company, a few vendors process data on our behalf: an email host, a calendar tool, a payment processor (Stripe), and an analytics tool. Each one has its own privacy policy and only sees what it needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
Active client files live in our systems for as long as we’re working together, plus three years for tax and record-keeping reasons. After that, we delete client materials unless you’ve asked us to hold onto something specific. You can also ask us to delete your records sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we have on file, correct anything that’s wrong, or have it deleted. Email support@aiforbiz.us with the subject line “privacy request” and we’ll respond within seven business days. If you’re a California resident, you have the same rights under CCPA, and we treat any request the same regardless of where you live.
NDAs
If you’d feel better having an NDA in place before our first call, just say so. We’ll sign yours, or send a one-page mutual NDA in plain English.
Cookies
The site uses one or two cookies for things like remembering whether you’ve dismissed a banner. There’s no advertising tracker, no Facebook pixel, no remarketing.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. Older versions are available on request.
